In which we become pilgrims!

Great night in Zaragoza last night with wonderful tapas.

.

Back to the apartment to pack up and leave bikes ready for an 8 am start.

We were using primal trackings route today which in quite a lot of parts was on the Camino de Santiago/ Ebro greenway.

Because it was a Camino route it went through every town along the way and they all had churches. some of them very beautiful and some …. Not

The route was flat and we had a tailwind 😊.

100 m from apartment we were on a cycle way which looks as if NMDDC got the maintenance contract and as if dog owners were paid to get their dogs to 💩 on it 🤨.

A bit cloudy today with a few spots of rain so the temperature was much more bearable at 23 degrees.

.

One town , Cortes was having its 9 day festival. It was like scene out of The Prisoner. Everyone was dressed in white with red scarves. The town was ready for the running of the bulls tonight and there was a free buffet in the park 😊. Lots of folk talked to us and wished us “Buen Camino “

We got the bikes washed as they were absolutely bogging

Then a lovely section algo the Ebro waterway.

Some interesting terrain today which would have had John Harty ( CLS) running for the garage and virtual hugs.

Now in Tuleda and waiting to get into our apartment. They didn’t say anything in the list about it being in a 10 storey block 🧐

No hope of a Bentley here.

Although apartment is actually very nice inside but the view is poor 😉

Bigger day tomorrow as we head for Pamplona.
