Then out the Carrilet towards Angles and Olot. Quick coffee stop in Amer, same place as with Tim a few days ago.

Pan flat initially, lovely champagne gravel really all the way to Olot where we stopped for a sandwich and some 2 stroke (coke) as we knew the climbing would start soon .
It sure did start and it was boiling. “Only mad dogs and Irishmen ?” Liz got a puncture which we plugged. Nearly ran out of water and really would not have liked that hill to last much longer, although it was not particularly difficult except for the heat.
