Today was a rest day at lake Bohinj … not much resting however.
8am swim with Noel , breakfast and over to bike hire. Noel and Jim on e-bikes. I just couldn’t do it so got an mtb.
Nice spin up to the Savica Slap ( waterfall)
Stopped at a World War One graveyard. May have discovered Dracula’s grave.
On to the waterfall. Noel minded the bikes while Jim and I climbed the hundreds of steps.
Back to town and dropped Jim off. Noel and I headed the other direction for a nice spin.
It really is very beautiful here.
Back to town left the bike back and headed off on foot for a loop of the lake. Very hot
Back to town again and needed to eat. Nice burger with Jim and then headed to the lake for a lovely swim.
Off to Austria again tomorrow via lake bled. Hopefully weather will hold 🤞
