Ann as usual cycled from newry while Eamon arrived by car , Scottish John , The Prof , and after a long absence Mr Kevin was welcomed back albeit briefly.

Up Sallys at a good pace and the plan was to turn right at the post and head for knockshee. Rebellion immediately as kevin had a coffee date and John and Ben took advantage of this weakness along surprisingly with Ann to head home via the mast.
That left only eamon and COC to head for Knockshee. Bad decision by me to head down the southern face of the mountain led to a hike through head high ferns and detours round whin bushes. This route is really for winter only … take note
Eventually hit the path after a tick check and got over to Kilfeagan lane , up to the cottages and back to fallow corner along the river.
Met a few lads from Skerries at the corner looking for Kodak corner 🤪, only about 2 miles out. They had the option of going up to the mast but wisely allowed us to guide them back to the trails.
Good spin even if we were deserted.
