Today’s route was short but plenty of climbing.
Started with a road climb , Paul’s legs “ not warmed up “ was the excuse for a lacklustre performance.
Then dropped into a gorge / river path. Undulating to say the least. with some techy bits also
At the end of that trail quick coffee and turned around more climbing and Stewart was now in full form with some excellent efforts to match even Peter.
Then on to an old water mill where Peter the chicken whisperer made some new friends
Then onwards towards the road climb where Paul’s legs left him following his previous efforts.
Then the race to the bottom which Paul claims he won although there is no evidence of same.
Quick move to see a folk museum but rain stopped play
Racing home now to pack bikes for tomorrow’s homeward journey.
