Return to Schiphol.
I had no great expectations of today as it seemed like an “airport run “ , thought it would be all road albeit on cycling lanes. I was well wrong. Fantastic tracks mostly well separated from traffic , wonderful scenery all the way. Herself had to be banned from using the word spectacular. It was flatter than Donald Trumps EEG at question time.
Stopped at Harderwijk for coffee and cake. We made great speed with glorious tailwind all day.
Into Amsterdam , a bit crazy with bikes. Stopped for lunch , Jan insulted the waiter by asking for a low brow dish !
Nice pub opposite Rembrandts house , he wasn’t in.
Short run to airport, bikes packed. Waiting for check in to open.
