On La Graciosa, this time instead of rain and a howling gale we only had the howling gale which was much more pleasant.
GRACIOSA is a small island off the north coast of Lanzarote. I’ve put the wiki link for anyone interested. There are no paved roads on the island and only one small town Caleta de Sebo and one other very small group of houses about 3 km north . A lot of the island is a nature reserve and bikes are banned on a lot of trails. Still we managed to get 35km out of it , not bad for a rest day. Lovely breakfast in local cafe , cooking in tonight.
Then headed to the playa La Francesca. Supposedly the best beach on the island. Nice nevertheless we did swim briefly and lay about for a bit which is something new for us. “Road” approach to this beach terrible with a lot of soft sand.
Back home now , washing machine on and going to try and de-sand the chains. Final packing for last run tomorrow down to Arecife and the lovely Hotel Lancelot ( not)
