Definitely a rest day ,all our cycling clothes gone to laundry. So doing the tourist thing today in the few clothes we have left 👃.
No horrible buffet breakfast today 😍 🥳 Top class.
First with a visit to the Cesar Manriques house/ museum. Absolutely stunning architecture. If I was ever to build another house this would be it.
Then a taxi to the Jameos del agua. Stunning site formed by a volcanic lava tube . Turned into educational site and an amazing auditorium. Home to the very rare blind white crab…. Who knew
Taxi back to Haria for a light lunch , that Rapha top that fitted me when I left home is going to be a bit nippy again.
Hopefully cycling shorts will be decontaminated ☢️ and dry by the morning for a skip up to Orzola again and ferry back to Graciosa . Looking forward to seeing that again sans the lashing rain. ☔️ but expecting a brisk headwind all the same. Fair bit of climbing and even more descending 😃😃to do.
