Well ….. that was a siege .
There was no doubt we were in debt to the weather gods , but boy did they extract the interest. Today’s spin was to have been done over 2 days in a more meandering fashion. However the forecast was so bad we compressed the route to 100km and did over the one day..
It was full oilskins all day. The shortened route was on main-ish roads so less pleasant , oh and the headwind we had for 14 days did a 180 😤
Not many about Malin head , just the usual few Americans , didn’t stay too long. Back to Malin for a Centra sandwich and cuppa ( god bless Centra) Back through Carndonagh , horrible main road for 15 km but nice new greenway from near Quigleys point to Muff , no such luck on the run into Derry. Across Foyle bridge was scary in the wind and then Komoot let us down on the way to the airport where the van was parked , leaving us on a dual carriageway. Traffic lights were red 🤪
Back to the van and off for a few well deserved days R and R …. No bikes for a while.

No issue with bikes bar the disc pads.
No plans for another big trip till at least October.
