Let’s get the weather talk out of the way first. I am more than a little concerned that John H has overdone the temazepam dose for the sleeping Joseph , another very welcome blue sky and lovely temperature.
Nice B and B in kenmare just off the Main Street ,a quick walk to No.35 our fav restaurant.
Breakfast followed the usual pattern of shock/ horror when a fry not requested… again settled for scrambled eggs which were possibly the worst scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. However the porridge was delicious.
No visit to Kenmare is complete without a trip to the Maison Gourmet for coffee and buns so a second breakfast was required.
I had had issues with front brakes yesterday and had to change the pads … they squealed all day and the drag on molls gap nearly finished me. Several service stops later still no better and squeaked my way to tonight’s air bnb , the location of which had matrimonial status flashing amber for a while.
Ballaghbeama Gap was delightful and ran down from there to Killorglin .Stopped for a toastie and some sandpaper with which I “adjusted “ my brakes successfully.
