With Paul\u2019s gut microbiome fully recovered he set a blistering pace on the first 30km , I must have had a bad glass of wine last night as I simply couldn\u2019t match his pace on the road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Off the road onto a river side path and on to Peter\u2019s home town Tvrdo\u0161in, Visited an amazing 14th century wooden church. Saw some human bones. Probably the last person to try to catch Paul Stewart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stopped for coffee and amazing buns , Brian who was think of his figure suggested we shared a bun. \ud83e\uddd0, for this he was banned to the naughty corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then a brilliant run up river along a riverside path . Took great care not to run over any of the huge snails. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onto the climb of the day where Stewart was at it again setting the pace. Liz was not having any of it and kept him under control. Meanwhile at the rear of affairs John and Brian\u2019s elastic snapped badly and Peter went to the rescue. Pushing both of them to get them back in. All to no avail. Before the top Peter arrived as expected and I jumped on his wheel leaving Paul calling expletives especially when Liz dropped him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quick turnaround for the return to the vehicles. Stewart looking for revenge was back on the gas. This put John and Brian into the red. But they survived to reach the cars more or less all together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
