Rest day. Sort of. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fantastic meal last night , managed to snag an early table at a tapas place. Delicious <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we had planned a road loop as a bit of a rest , returning to Yaiza tonight via playa Blanca ferry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Komoot was acting the \ud83c\udf46again and took us on gravel track along a road for 6 k then decided it wanted to go the other way around the loop. So we spent the whole day with Komoot telling me to do a u turn \ud83d\ude44<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up to La Olivia , headwind , then left to Caldereta ( blink and you\u2019ll miss it) . Then hard to port and along the coastal road through the national park. Glorious tailwind. Shook out the reefs , dropped the number 2 , hoisted the Genoa and a broad reach the whole way back to the port . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even had a swim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately we missed the ferry we had a return ticket for ( there are three ferry companies) so now on a big slow ferry to playa Blanca but is flat calm unlike the last time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then finished with a quick dart up to Yaiza. Stopped for a quick cerveza in the town. Nice hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
