Peter who had Mr M tweaking his gears at the start later developed a non- functioning rear freehub ,so that was the end of his day . <\/p>\n<p>Robbie and I had been commenting on how it would be a nice calm spin with no pressure when Eamon and Rowan descended late ( at about 100 mph) , so that was the end of that . They went up Castle bog like a couple of scalded cats , leaving the rest of us including our latest quinquagenarian  gasping for breath . <\/p>\n<p>Reminder that Santa Run is on Sat 15th December ( santa was busy on the 22nd ) , hopefully our German department will have returned and  the camper is away for the season .
